Committee chairs shall take attendance at each committee meeting. Attendance will be reported to the Secretary. Senators seeking excused absences shall present excuses to the Secretary no later than forty-eight hours after a Senate or committee meeting. All excused absences from Senate must be in accordance with the Student and Faculty Handbooks. The Secretary shall request that the Musket publish records of Senate attendance twice each year. One of these requests will be made six weeks before the spring Senate elections.
